As one of the largest farming agri-businesses in Southland, Wilkins Farming Co has invested in land ownership and management of our own properties and leased farms.  We believe in forming strong partnerships across our supply chain, taking pride in what we do.  We work hard to maintain high standards as landowners.  As 6th generation New Zealand farmers we manage the land in a sustainable and responsible way for the generations who will follow.

Thanks to our Southland location, our land is blessed with many local rivers such as the Mataura and the Oreti, and impressive flats and hillsides.

Our farms are located across four key regions within Northern Southland.

• Wendonside – (the main farm unit) deer, beef, sheep, dairy, grazing and cropping
• Athol – deer, beef, sheep, grazing and cropping
• Five Rivers – dairy
• Fairlight – beef, sheep, grazing and cropping
